Daniel Myrick is an American director who gained fame for co-writing and co-directing the horror film “The Blair Witch Project” in 1999. He graduated from the University of Central Florida School of Film in the mid-90s and began his career editing and shooting projects for Florida-area businesses and music videos. His commercial work for the Florida Film Festival in 1997 led to his directorial debut.

Aside from “The Blair Witch Project,” Myrick has directed several other projects including “The Strand,” “Believers,” “Solstice,” “The Objective,” and “Under the Bed.” In 2006, he co-founded Raw Feed, a horror subsidiary of Warner Bros. Pictures with producers John Shiban and Tony Krantz.
